I went to consultations at three places. The first hospital said my eyes looked crowded and did not really recommend medial epicanthoplasty. The second hospital said there would not be much of a problem from the line where they lightly open it up, and told me it was possible. Yesterday I went to the third hospital, and they said that because I have somewhat severe sunken eyes, if I get Mongolian fold epicanthoplasty, there is quite a high chance of scarring, so I'm really worried. My Mongolian folds are fairly severe, so if possible I wanted to open them up, but after hearing what the last hospital said, I'm a bit scared. I'm doing it together with non-incisional double eyelid surgery.
