My midface is long, and my cheekbones are also really large, so it’s extremely stressful. Would it be a bad idea to shave down the cheekbones more from here? If my cheekbones protruded moderately, I’d just live with it, but they’re too big. Even if it means accepting that my midface may look a little longer, I’m wondering if getting it done is the right choice.
When I reduce my cheekbones in edited photos, I don’t really feel like my midface looks much longer, and if anything, my facial features stand out more so it looks okay. But I’m really worried that in reality my midface might look longer and I’ll be unhappy with it.
Because my cheekbones protrude, they look especially more noticeable when I take photos, so it’s stressful. And I have protruding lips, so I’m undergoing orthodontic treatment, but I may need jaw surgery too…
