I had it done when I was a senior in high school.. (I’m 23 now) I did it after begging and begging my parents... My horizontal eye length was originally a little longer than other people’s, so I didn’t do anything like canthoplasty.. Because of side effects from eyelid tape, the skin around my eyes sagged a lot.. I couldn’t even think about non-incisional buried-suture double eyelid surgery... I had no choice but to do a full-incision double eyelid surgery, and they said that for an incisional method, it turned out well. If there are people who had full-incision double eyelid surgery and whose swelling isn’t going down, really, time is the medicine... In my case too, the swelling really didn’t go down, so I struggled a lot at first... but they said the only surgery possible was full incision, so what could I do.. I thought I just had to endure it... Even up to about 1 or 2 years after surgery, the swelling keeps going down~ At first, within 3 months after surgery, a lot of swelling went down, and after it settled to some extent, even until after 1 year it kept going down very, very subtly~ After the first 6 months, there was no sign the swelling would go down any further, and even though the surgical marks showed a bit, I heard a lot that my eyes were pretty, so it was okay. (At times like this, people who are annoying... when guys say my eyes are pretty, the women next to them always have to say, “Looks like she got double eyelids?” Then the guys’ expressions immediately change ㅠㅠ.. Do they really feel satisfied only after hurting someone’s feelings.. Ladies, let’s not do that.) As 1 and 2 years passed, I met a lot of new people, and the number of people who noticed my eye surgery gradually decreased significantly, so I thought the swelling must be going down subtly.. Looking at it now, it looks natural, like my own eyes.. These days, if I even draw eyeliner before going out, except for the very occasional women who notice, people don’t catch on.. You know among men these days there are always some who are quick to notice women’s cosmetic surgery, right? Those men sometimes notice once or twice that I had it done. Most people don’t notice well, and among women, maybe one or two out of about 10 ask whether I did it or not, saying it kind of looks like I did and kind of looks like I didn’t, and asking me to tell the truth... I just left it completely to the doctor and did it, but I have no regrets. When I first had it done, I did hear a lot that it would be pretty once the swelling went down, but the swelling really didn’t go down... It really didn’t.. But after a few months passed, it had gotten a lot thinner. lol I can really guarantee this: surgeries like nose surgery or nasolabial fold augmentation are said to have the effect of making your image look a bit more refined... But I don’t think there’s any surgery that makes someone look like a completely different person as much as double eyelid surgery.. These days, a hospital that can’t do double eyelids isn’t even a hospital. No matter which hospital it is, doctors are all so good at double eyelid surgery, seriously. If you’re 고민ing, do your eyes. They say nose surgery has a high chance of failure, but eyes are almost all done well these days. Because it’s such a basic procedure, my third older sister’s result was so extremely natural that really not even one person can tell she had surgery. Definitely do the eyes. I don’t know about other areas, but double eyelids can change your life^^ This is an eye photo taken with circle lenses + mascara.. Ah.. and if anyone might send me a message, please only people in Busan... I live in Busan, so I had it done in Busan.
