Has anyone had silicone removed with a closed approach and found a material other than septal cartilage in the columella area, then had it removed? If it’s septal cartilage in my columella, I definitely want to leave it in - I’m worried it might collapse. But they said there have been quite a few cases where the possibility of another material turning up isn’t low. Then at ㅅㅅㅇ, they said they would take my septal cartilage or ear cartilage and re-graft it, but that would require an open approach, so I’m conflicted. I’m going for re-consultations at other hospitals next week ㅠㅠ Ah, is there anyone here who had planned to use septal cartilage, but it turned out the hospital had actually used a different material?
