It has been 12 days since my surgery. I originally planned to post photos much later, but when I looked at the photos, I could see the swelling slowly going down, so I'm posting them once. ^^ I didn't have much swelling after surgery. There was no bruising and no bleeding either. It didn't really hurt much during or after surgery, so I even thought maybe I was totally made for surgery.. haha Still, I don't want to have surgery again! ㅡ_-;; I had consultations at 5 places, and only one clinic mentioned ptosis. On the day of surgery, I told the clinic, "One of the other doctors mentioned ptosis..." and the doctor said it wasn't ptosis. Then the doctor said that after finishing the surgery, since my eye-opening strength was a little weak, they made a slight adjustment, so it should be easier to open my eyes... But after surgery, I did feel a little regret that it would have been nice if more of my pupils were exposed. Of course, compared with my formerly droopy eyes, it improved a lot. ^^ I thought an in-out line looked pretty, but the doctor suggested doing a natural in-line, so I agreed, and I'm fairly satisfied with the line. But because I'm so relaxed about it, even though it hasn't even been quite 2 weeks since surgery, I keep asking my family at home like this. "If I go out like this, people who didn't know me before probably won't really know I had double eyelid surgery, right? Or not? Is it obvious at a glance?" Then the answer comes back immediately, without even 0.2 seconds of thought.. "Yes" haha I guess I've already gotten way too used to how I look. And I live with a mirror glued to me.. When I look in the mirror after a while too, the line is dark and there's swelling and all that. It's only natural, but I'm already under the illusion that it looks natural, seriously..;; I do worry that it might become an inner double eyelid, but somehow I don't think it will go that far. I want natural-looking eyes that are close to an inner double eyelid, but not truly completely inner double eyelids, so I hope the line gets just a little thinner than now, and more than that, I hope the dark crease becomes natural quickly! Time will be the medicine, right. ^^ I ended up rambling at length while posting one photo. Hope everyone becomes prettier.. ^-^
