I had a full nose removal today. I feel like my mind is much more at ease. I just hope recovery goes well. I thought they had only put septal cartilage on one side, but when they opened it up, it turned out they had placed septal cartilage on one side and ear cartilage on the other. There was also a septal support, and I had everything removed, including all the stacked ear cartilage. After the surgery, when I saw the photo of what was removed, I felt so, so relieved. They said the adhesions were severe, so maybe that’s why it seemed like I had more scar tissue than other people at 6 months. More than anything, I immediately felt like my nose was lighter, which was nice ㅜㅜ My nose is still completely covered up, so I can’t see it, but I hope it turned out well…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
