I had surgery with L-shaped silicone 20 years ago, and there was no inflammatory reaction, but because of very occasional tenderness and my nasal tip turning red when I wore a mask, I had only a simple removal 2 years ago. I had been doing fine, but since June 2024, the left nasal dorsum and nasal ala have intermittently become red with tenderness, and it feels like there is a foreign substance stuck in my left nostril. Visually there is nothing, and even when I clean with a cotton swab, nothing comes out ㅜㅜ I visited and consulted at an ENT/plastic surgery clinic that performs cosmetic surgery, and at the ENT department, they didn't even take a CT, but said there were no signs of inflammation and that it was psychological pain…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
