For revision rhinoplasty, I had 28 mm silicone, donated costal cartilage, and nasal tip work done, but maybe because my face is naturally very flat, even 28 mm is high. Can just the silicone be replaced with something lower or shaved down more to make it thinner, or do I have to completely undergo revision surgery again?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
