I had my first surgery in 2015. It’s already been 10 years. I had 45 mm of my hump shaved through a closed approach, ear cartilage placed on the nasal tip, and I also had a MISKO procedure done at the same time as my rhinoplasty. Looking back now, I wonder why I even did the MISKO procedure. Anyway, it wasn’t an extremely pretty nose, but I lived just fine. The bridge of my nose was always reddish, and the silicone border showed through a bit, but when I went to the clinic, they said it was because my skin had become thin and suggested lowering the silicone. But thinking about how I’ve lived all this time worrying about silicone inflammation makes me scared too…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
