If I do implant-free surgery using only my own ear cartilage and septum, is it true there won’t be any side effects? I went for a consultation, and they suggested removing the nasal bridge implant and reusing what’s currently inside my nose for the nasal tip, proceeding like a revision surgery. They said using my own cartilage wouldn’t cause side effects, and that there wouldn’t be any rolling inward of the nasal tip or columella after removal. Has anyone here done implant-free surgery? For those who had implant-free surgery but experienced side effects or are considering removal, I’m curious what the reasons are. I also want to improve the shape to some extent, so I’d like to go in the direction I mentioned above, but if that can also have side effects, then it would be right not to do it, so I’m torn.
