I had it done in Apgujeong. I had seen two acquaintances get good results there before, so I didn’t consult anywhere else and booked the surgery date right away. I had my eyes and nose done together- I’ll post the nose in the nose surgery review section, lololol My eyes are long horizontally and the eye sockets are deep, but I don’t have double eyelids. The typical Asian eyes, lololol. But since 9th grade, I’d been making double eyelids with glue. So if I put strength into my eyes, double eyelids would form even without glue, but they never settled permanently. That’s why I decided on surgery! Since I was doing it, I made up my mind to do everything: epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and under-eye aegyo fat too. But after the doctor measured my eyes, he said the rest was exactly appropriate as-is and suggested just doing double eyelids as an infold. These days, maybe they won’t do it even if you ask?ㅠ So I said an infold would be no different from what I make with glue, and asked for an outfold, but he said it would probably look awkward. So I had no choice but to do an infold. After scheduling the surgery, for about 5 days I met friends I wouldn’t be able to see for a while like crazy, lololol. Finally, the day of surgery, dun-dun. I was supposed to be there by 10 a.m., but there was traffic, so I arrived about 30 minutes late. Maybe because I called on the way, they didn’t seem too annoyed, lololol. I went in, washed my face first, and had the final consultation. But when the doctor looked again, he said an outfold would be prettier, lololol. So I said we had decided on an infold before, and he said after looking again, an outfold would be prettier,- -; That was a bit off-putting, but since what I originally had in mind was an outfold, I said yes without complaint. At that time, he roughly marked the double eyelid line with a pen. They took photos too, lololol. Now to the operating room, go go~ Lying on the operating table, I started getting nervous from then;; Maybe the doctor noticed, because he made a few jokes, lololol. They disinfected my whole face with red antiseptic, redesigned the line in detail with a purple solution- and finally the surgery started! I had heard that the anesthetic injections hurt, but really.......... they were death,- - I got 5 shots in each eye, 10 total. Three were on the eyelid, and two were given after flipping the eyelid over inside, and that was intense. Honestly, right there I regretted the surgery for about 0.3 seconds, lololol. Anyway, after that everything proceeded smoothly and quickly- I could feel something moving back and forth and my eyes being pulled a little? After feeling that for a bit, the doctor said, “Open your eyes, close them again.” After doing that a few times, “Surgery is done!” he said, then pinched my nose once and left, lololol. I had nose surgery scheduled right after, so the nurse told me to go to the bathroom once, so I went. But people say not to look in the mirror right after surgery because you’ll regret it. But honestly, I was curious, lololol. So I looked in the mirror, and there was less swelling than I expected, no bruising at all, and the line looked like it would become exactly the eyes I wanted once the swelling went down♡ I just grinned to myself in the bathroom haha. The surgery took about 30 minutes total, I think. I didn’t have fat removed. They said I didn’t need to- Other than the anesthetic injections, nothing hurt at all. The anesthetic injections are done quickly too, so you only have to endure it for a moment, lololol. That’s it for my quick double eyelid review! For those who are agonizing while using glue like I did, I hope you say bye-bye to glue quickly^ ^ I’ll upload photos too once the stitches are removed. Please leave lots of replies♡
