I made the appointment a month ago and finally had it yesterday.. When I woke up this morning, the swelling.. the lower part of my face was bulging out between the bandages, and it was unbearable. Yesterday, after the anesthesia wore off, it throbbed and hurt so much I thought I would die.. After reading reviews saying it throbbed and hurt in an unpleasant way, I didn't know what kind of pain that meant, but after doing it, I understood. Food is the most painful part.. Because I can't eat.. Yesterday I only sucked soy milk through a straw.. Porridge wouldn't go up through the straw either, so I blended it in a mixer and stuck a straw in to eat it.. What is this.. Today I put somyeon noodles in cold noodle broth and ate it, and it got caught in my throat, so I thought I was going to die. After eating a little, I worried that debris might get stuck in between, so I stopped eating and gargled.. Since the surgery is done under anesthesia, it isn't painful, but before it, I was trembling, so that was painful.. They say that when they put me under anesthesia, I just kept laughing. I woke up to the sound of my own laughter.. I could feel everything being done during surgery without realizing it, and I guess I must have felt really good because I kept laughing, regardless of my own will..^^ I also heard the nurse say that the patient must be feeling good.. It just felt like I was inside a whirlpool playing around wildly. Right now, since it's the first day of swelling, I'm very swollen.. But I can't tell whether my chin has come out. Is it because I'm swollen? It looks like I'm the only one whose chin doesn't look projected. Was it like that at first for those of you who had surgery too? I'm worried because my chin doesn't look like it came out....... And when on earth can I start eating rice, and when can I start chewing? They told me to come to the hospital tomorrow... When will the stitches dissolve.. I want to eat rice.. a proper meal.. For those planning to have surgery.. I also spent the whole month worrying and kept being tense even on the operating table.. It ends quickly, and after the anesthesia wears off, it hurts a lot for only half a day, and the next day it doesn't hurt unless you press hard, so don't worry too much.. But my lips feel like they're going to burst..^^ Those of you planning surgery, don't worry and go ahead.. Although not being able to eat rice is sad.. Fighting!!! I'll upload photos after the swelling goes down.. I also asked people to upload lots of postoperative review photos^^
