I wrote a long post and it suddenly disappeared, so I thought about just flopping down and restingㅠ_ㅠ but I’m writing this in hopes it will be even a little helpful to those planning surgery. I was unhappy with my nostril wings, so I had been gathering information for the past few days, and as expected, my nose is apparently a very bizarre?! case. The bridge and tip are neither high nor low, and even though the nostril wings look wide, the ratio between the eyes actually fits perfectly, and although it sometimes looks upturned, the side view looks normal... Overall it isn’t a bad or strange nose, but it’s a nose missing 2%. But the doctor said even he wasn’t sure what that 2% was. In the end, to borrow an objective female perspective, I also listened to advice from the nurses and the consultation manager, coordinated that with the doctor’s thoughts, and had the surgery. They lowered the nasal tip by about 3 degrees and raised the nasal tip. Right after surgery, while I was still groggy, they showed me a mirror, and as expected there was no change in the nostril wings, but my overall impression had changed sli-ghtly. I’ll have to wait until all the swelling goes down to know the details. But since nostril wing excision surgery cannot be revised, I think they’re especially cautious. Even after consulting with me for two hours, they absolutely wouldn’t reduce them (the consultation took two hours and the surgery took two hours. I went at 2 and came out after 6 ㅠㅠ), and they said if I’m dissatisfied, they’ll do revision surgery then. But what makes me anxious is the fear that if I’m dissatisfied then, I’ll have to put in this time and effort one more time -_-; Oh, there’s a question below about the place where I had surgery! It seems some people felt upset because of the manager’s sharp way of speaking.. Since I don’t know that person deeply, I can’t really say this or that, but once you get used to it, it’s okay (?!). And the nurses were really kind during surgery. The doctor seems naturally eccentric... *Only the nasal tip is slightly visible between the taping, and it’s pretty high. But they said they didn’t raise it much, so it looks high because of the swelling, right? Everyone says the third day is when swelling is worst, so I’m anxious since I was swollen from the first day, trembling.
