Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I just got medial epicanthoplasty today~!

I had only been lurking here every day, but I finally worked up the courage and had surgery. I don’t have double eyelids and my nose is low too, but I had been living relying on my face as it was, more or less.. Then I realized that the distance between my eyes was noticeably wider than other people’s... so I looked a bit... blank~ That’s why I decided to have surgery.. I went to a local clinic through someone my mom knows.. Unlike other places, the doctor didn’t say things like “get double eyelids too” or “get your nose done too,” so I just felt I could trust him.. So I had it done today.. Even before the surgery I was really scared it would hurt, and during the anesthesia... I don’t know how many shots it was... they said it would sting.. It really just stings.. Maybe about three little stings? And then the surgery began.... Ugh.. I was breaking out in a cold sweat.. Maybe because it was the eyes... I kept imagining the stitching and cutting and everything... Anyway... toward the end, the anesthesia wore off a little, so I did feel the needle going in... but that was bearable too. Then... after about 40 minutes, it was finally over.. The doctor said, “Your eyes look more open now...” and when I looked in the mirror, they really did look more open.. my eyes.. Also.. even though I don’t have double eyelids, they look much bigger.. My dad said they also seem longer toward the outer corners.. For now they’re swollen and, because of the stitches, I do look like Frankenstein... But after some time, they’ll become lovely like they’re truly mine, right; On the way home.. feeling the breeze flowing through my eyes, I was very happy. I’ll upload photos later~!
