Hi. While going around for plastic surgery consultations, the directors suggested surgical methods, and they all said it seems like I need incisional ptosis correction. Some places also suggested under-eye fat repositioning. I’m secretly worried because I heard ptosis correction has many side effects, and I’ve also seen posts saying vision got worse after LASEK. The places I went to for consultations all said my eyelid-opening strength is weak, I have uneven eyes and protruding eyes, and that at minimum I need incisional surgery with ptosis correction for the multiple eyelid folds and sleepy-looking eyes to be resolved.
