I'll write mainly about what people are probably most curious about regarding before/after effects and side effects. First, my side effect was a noticeable decline in vision ㅠ .. I got new glasses this time
The skin at the back where the lateral canthoplasty incision was made still has pigmentation, and especially in my right eye there is also scar tissue. My left eye has slightly healed together in a ㄷ shape. But it doesn't bother me. Having perfectly triangular, blocked small narrow eyes + eye tails pointing at 11 o'clock + having to wear makeup like a Japanese-style lateral canthoplasty look vs. being bare-faced but slightly noticeable, with ㄷ-shaped adhesion and puppy eyes... I think the latter is much better.
The incision line under the aegyo-sal is not visible unless I stare closely in the mirror, but the incision line on my left eye has not fully healed yet. I have no entropion, conjunctival edema, or dry eye at all, but I didn't have any of those before surgery either, so please keep that in mind. Also, as you recover, it becomes more natural than when it was first incised. When it hadn't been long since surgery, my eyes looked intense and I thought they had been lowered too much, but now they have naturally become puppy eyes. Everyone, please don't worry too much. The effect is there, proportional to the pain and time spent.
