I had surgery on Friday at a hospital in Daegu ; I made the reservation 3 months in advance,, It was so famous and so crowded that you had to line up and wait. Anyway, I went into the operating room, lay down, and got an IV like drip medication or something. Even when I asked what it was, they didn’t answer, They really didn’t seem to care. It felt like they were treating it as if it were just ear piercing. Two nurses came in and chatted among themselves. I was totally nervous, my heart pounding, but anyway the doctor came in, used forceps to pinch here and there, and said, “This should be fine, right?” That’s what he said, so I answered, “Yes.” As soon as I said that, they started the surgery right away; They did the anesthesia through the IV line and it was over in a complete flash - _- It was really anticlimactic. I wondered if I had lost sleep for 3 months just for this, The nurses and doctors were all so careless and not very kind, The surgery seems to have gone okay, but anyway I can’t shake this uneasy feeling.
