I had my splint removed today. I’ll still have a few more follow-up visits, but today after removing the splint I had a consultation with the director, and I was so happy I seriously couldn’t even speak. I don’t think I even properly told him thank you After full removal, what I was most worried about was the nasal bridge, but there was no pooled blood and no depressed area, so I was really, really, really satisfied. He also made the nasal tip angle pretty enough that I don’t even think of my old hump nose, and my nose doesn’t look upturned either. It feels like the worries and concerns I had for over the past year have been resolved, so I’m very satisfied. Of course, the swelling will go down more from now on too…
