Originally, I had wide nasal bones and thick nostril wings and a bulbous nasal tip, and my first surgery was done with dermis at the nasal tip and straight silicone. There was no separate manipulation to shape the nasal tip with cartilage. I’m currently thinking about removing the nasal silicone because of the foreign-body sensation, but I’m worried it will look too spread out. That is my original face, though. I’m curious whether anyone has had surgery done all at once while removing it, such as alar base reduction or tying the cartilage of the bulbous nasal tip/nasal tip to support the shape. If so, would that fall under revision surgery rather than removal? I’m also thinking about just doing the nasal tip after silicone removal…
