I had surgery last Wednesday... I didn’t know this, but they said the opening strength on my left side was weak, and that my right side was opening too much, making the eye open wide, so they said they would need to slightly tighten the muscle in my left eye. So on the left side, I had ptosis correction and incisional double eyelid surgery.. It’s now day 5... My left eye barely opens, while my right eye opens well. When I open them with effort, on the right side my iris looks completely round and fully visible, but my left eye barely opens even halfway.. The photos of each eye taken separately were taken while smiling, but my left eye ends up completely closed... Is the eye originally like that after ptosis correction? It’s hard to open my eye. I can’t see well, so I have to lift my head to look,,,,, How does it look to you?
