The reason I’m deliberating is that in my previous surgery, the doctor messed me up badly, saying he would shove in ridiculously thick silicone for a hump that I didn’t even have. So a hole was made in the hump area, what people call an open roof. Then they did spreader grafting to fill that in, but instead my nose got blocked, my breathing path became weird, my nose became wide and bulky, and the foreign-body sensation is awful. Anyway, this time I’m going to remove all kinds of things, including the spreader graft. But if everything is removed, the area where the hump hole is will probably be this broad, flat field like a lion nose.
