I heard the nose originally has the most bacteria, and if surgery was done with an open approach, bacteria can enter the surgical site whenever immunity weakens and cause inflammation. They say noses operated on with silicone or artificial materials have a higher chance of inflammation, but what is the reason inflammation doesn’t occur as easily with autologous cartilage?
