Consultation review Today I went to a plastic surgery clinic in Gwangju, C something, to consult with the doctor about double-eyelid surgery. Also, in our neighborhood it is known as a hospital that does surgery pretty well, so I wanted to get a consultation there. When I first entered the hospital, the nurse greeted me kindly. But she said the doctor was briefly out, so I would have to wait a little before I could have the consultation. So I decided to wait for a while. However, the doctor who was supposed to come in 10 minutes came in after about 30 minutes had passed. I wanted to have surgery with the buried suture method, but the doctor said that if a man does it with the buried suture method, men's eye muscles are strong, so it all comes undone quickly, and that the buried suture method absolutely could not be done. I felt a bit upset. The doctor said he would do epicanthoplasty, remove eye fat, and then perform the surgery with a full incision. (I think if the client wants something, it should be done the way the client wants. I felt a bit bitter. For reference, I'm a man, so I went to the consultation thinking I might do thin inner double eyelids with the buried suture method.) When I asked for the estimate, he said it was 1 million won. I said okay, and when I said I'd discuss it at home and come back, then left, at the door the nurse said the consultation fee was 10,000 won, but since I had waited 30 minutes, she was sorry and would only take 5,000 won. I really couldn't understand it. Because I had learned and known from our cafe that consultations were free, but they charged a separate consultation fee. I finished the consultation and came out feeling a bit dumbfounded and not very good. Everyone, are double-eyelid surgery consultations all like this? It really makes me not want to go around for consultations.ㅡ.ㅡ
