I had total nose removal on March 25 this year, and it’s day 42 after removal. Clear discharge is coming from both nasal incision sites and it’s so, so itchy that I feel like I’m going crazy. My primary surgery was on January 25 this year, using septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone, but I had it removed at the two-month mark because of inflammation. The inflammation appeared at two months. I don’t know why. It’s been a little over a month since I had total removal at a hospital specializing in removal, and when they removed everything, I saw that the ear cartilage, capsule, and silicone were taken out. They said they overlaid the septal cartilage for reinforcement, so I think they didn’t discard the septal cartilage and used it for reinforcement. They said leaving septal cartilage isn’t a problem …
