Hello, I’m really worried because of revision rhinoplasty I’m currently visiting several hospitals for consultations, and the reasons for revision include contracture, plus my skin is so thin that the cartilage shows through The hospitals commonly say that using autologous costal cartilage, dermis needs to be added over the nasal tip. 1 A place that uses postauricular dermis to add coverage. 2 A place that says when harvesting autologous costal cartilage, they will take that skin tissue and use it so the nasal tip doesn’t show through. The dermal material differs so much by hospital that I’m confused. Would it not matter much whether it’s postauricular dermis or autologous costal dermis? Has anyone had autologous dermis…
