I had nose revision surgery in early July, then developed inflammation twice, and they made the shape and height look completely like Squidward’s nose. So to check for inflammation, on 8/13 they opened my nose, washed it out, replaced the donated costal cartilage and silicone, and the day before yesterday I had the stitches removed. But now it’s swelling up again like an Avatar nose, just like when I had inflammation. They said they’ll try to control the inflammation again with injections, and if that doesn’t seem to work, they’ll open my nose again and wash it out. At this point, could it be that the donated costal cartilage doesn’t suit me? They said the initial cause of the inflammation was that oil from the forehead fat grafting I had done together with the nose surgery flowed down and pooled in my nose.
