Nose + nasolabial fold augmentation Day 2 (pretty detailed^^)

I’m a man, and I got my nose and nasolabial fold augmentation done the afternoon before yesterday. -Day of surgery- I gargled a lot with red liquid and lay down on the operating table. I had Gore-Tex for the nasal bridge and silicone for the nasolabial fold augmentation. I think it took about 3 hours... After general anesthesia, I briefly fell asleep and woke up, and under local anesthesia I could feel the surgical process.. I really thought this was not something a person should go through -_- Metal instruments going into my face, and I could feel the bone being rasped.. Horrible If someone told me to do it again, I absolutely don’t think I could -_- I came out with tape and a plastic splint on my nose. I could feel my face gradually swelling until evening. They said lying down wasn’t good, so until bedtime I sat on the sofa and kept using the ice pack the hospital gave me. By night, my eyes were so swollen I could barely see. My nose kept bleeding, and my cheeks swelled like crazy. My upper lip was numb and I couldn’t open my mouth, so eating dinner was hard.. but since it was porridge, I managed to eat it well enough. I just used my usual pillow and lay down to sleep -_- -Day 1 after surgery- When I woke up, my eyes were so swollen it was hard to open them. They told me not to wash my face or shower, so I couldn’t. I went around barely opening my eyes into slits smaller than 1 mm. The nosebleed kept coming little by little, similar to the first day, and my face swelled more and hurt The cheek area where I had the nasolabial fold augmentation swelled unevenly, with one side much worse. When I went to the hospital where I had surgery yesterday at the time they told me to come, they said it was probably because I slept on my side, but asymmetry while swollen doesn’t matter much. They said I could wash my face and shower starting tomorrow. Overall, I was slightly more swollen than on the day of surgery... Even after coming home, I kept sitting and doing cold compresses with an ice pack. The bruised area around my eyes also spread wider. -Day 2..(today)- When I woke up in the morning, my face looked the same -_- The hospital said it could swell more until day 2-3, but luckily it doesn’t seem to have gotten much worse. I barely opened my eyes, washed my face, and showered. I tried to keep water out of the nose area as much as possible, but the nurse said it was okay, so I just did everything -_- Because it’s hard to open my bruised, swollen eyes, I keep tearing up, and my face is swollen tight and slightly painful. My nosebleed is still coming little by little, but it has become a bit clearer. I ate all my food, took all my medicine, gargled as instructed, drank a cup of green tea, and went to the hospital at the time they told me to come. They cleaned my nose and removed the plastic splint. They said they’ll remove the tape on my nose when I come on day 5. I came back home, kept doing cold compresses, and rubbed the bruised areas with an egg, and it seems to be getting a little better than this morning...^___^ My face is still swollen now, but opening my eyes is much easier. There is still bruising around my eyes. The nosebleed is steadily decreasing, but the fact that it’s still happening bothers me a little. Earlier, the inside of my nose stung like it was being pricked with a needle and red blood came out, so I was really anxious. It’s okay now...-_- By okay, I mean... sometimes my nose feels itchy, and when I put a tissue to it, a little clear blood comes out... As for the stinging and bleeding, I suspect it might be because of the cold pack that looks like an eye mask.. When I sit wearing it, it sometimes lightly touches the outside left and right sides of my nose, so I suspect that may be why. Anyway, now on the night of day 2, it feels like the swelling has passed its peak and is starting to go down. The cheeks where I had the nasolabial fold augmentation also feel less swollen than in the morning. At the hospital this afternoon they said I swelled more than other people, but luckily it seems to be going down faster than other people too ^^ Maybe because I drank green tea ^^ Anyway, I’ll post again. Ugh.. I just got startled because registration failed. Ctrl+V ^^;; But the uneven swelling in my cheeks from the nasolabial fold augmentation and the stinging inside my nose earlier are okay, right?
