I had my first nose surgery, got my splint removed yesterday, and saw my nose for the first time today! I went for a consultation because I was concerned about my bulbous nose and low nose, and the doctor was an ENT specialist, so I felt a bit more trust and ended up choosing them, since I tend to worry a lot lol. So I decided to do it without an implant and went into surgery! Wow, but waking up from anesthesia was so hard that I really struggled, but everyone else seemed to wake up from anesthesia fine and was walking around.... amazing lolol. My nose with the splint on looked so satisfying. It was exactly the semi-straight line I wanted, so I was full of expectations. But then... when I got the stitches removed yesterday, it hurt so much that I left the clinic in a daze and came home, but when I got home and looked, there was an obvious straight-line shadow between the glabella and the nasal bridge.... ha.... You know that feeling like someone put chalk in thereㅠ No matter how I took photos, the shadow came out really harshly lol... like someone painted my nose lolㅠ I went to a lot of consultations too, but even if they say it will gradually get lower over time, this feels way too severe...? I really went in thinking this would be my first and last nose surgery, so I’m so stressed that it turned out like this... For everyone thinking about nose surgery, I hope you make sure they won’t make the glabella-to-nasal-bridge line look angular before you go..ㅠㅠ
