Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

A detailed review from start to finish of nose surgery? lol

I had it done in Apgujeong. I did it together with my eyes. I posted the eye surgery in the eye review board^ ^ My nose wasn’t that big of a complex for me. I just thought I’d do it together while doing my eyes- no matter how pretty a natural nose is, there’s still a bit of a difference compared with a surgically done one. Of course, some people may think a natural nose is prettier, but I wanted a completely sharp, high nose like a celebrity, lolololol. My nose had a bit of a bridge, but the tip was round, so from the front it didn’t look very high. My friends kept saying my side profile and front view looked different, so I analyzed the cause, and it was the nose,- -; That’s why I decided on surgery! At first, I went for a consultation, and after measuring my nose here and there, they said the tip was a bit round, but it wasn’t really a nose that needed surgery, so I didn’t have to do it. They said if I insisted, just doing the nasal tip would probably be okay... But I said that since I was doing it, I wanted to do the bridge too. Since I had absolutely no surgery experience- you know that feeling, just wanting to do everything while you’re at it, lolololol. They showed me photos of other people who had surgery there, and honestly, the more I looked, the more I wanted it, lolololol. But the doctor said those people really had no nasal bridge, blunt nasal tips, and a lot of flesh on the nose, and told me not to expect such a dramatic effectㅠㅠㅠㅠ Anyway, I had already made up my mind to do it, so I scheduled the surgery date and came back. We decided to use silicone for the nasal bridge. I wanted a slightly upturned, gently curved “beoseon” nose, so we decided on that. When I brought up Gore-Tex, the doctor said Gore-Tex has the advantage of looking natural, but it has not yet been fully verified and revision surgery is difficult, and that expensive things are not always better. For the nasal tip, we decided to use ear cartilage. It was an intranasal incision. Finally, surgery day, ta-da- I had the eye surgery first. After the eye surgery, I went to the bathroom once, and then the nose surgery started right away. First, they put an IV with clear liquid into my arm, and clipped that device for checking heartbeat onto my finger. Hearing that beep beep beep heartbeat sound you’d only hear in a medical drama really made the surgery feel real, lolololol. I even held my breath for no reason, lolololol. But even when I held my breath, my heartbeat kept going,- -; They said the nose would be under sedation, so I thought it wouldn’t hurt much. But, what the,- -; The ear was under local anesthesia OTL They covered everything except the ear area with that green cloth. Even my face,- -; Then they disinfected with red antiseptic, and a little later the doctor came and started anesthetizing the ear! I got 3-4 anesthetic injections behind the ear and one inside the ear, and the one inside the ear hurt the mostㅠㅠㅠㅠ I guess anesthetic injections hurt wherever they’re given. Anyway, after the anesthesia, they immediately started harvesting cartilage. It didn’t hurt because of the anesthesia, but the sounds... the sounds... drrr drrr, scrape scrape, keeeeeng... I heard all kinds of horrifying sounds,- -; There was even a sound like chewing gristle;; The psychological fear was really huge, lolololol. I could roughly tell what they were doing too. ‘Ah, they’re cutting the cartilage now.’ ‘Ah, now they’re stitching.’ As expected, cartilage harvesting was finished. After they stitched the ear, I lay down right away, and when the doctor said, “Amizola 3.5,” the nurse said, “3.5?” “Ah, 3.0.” I was really taken aback there. It’s not like I’d die from 0.5 mm more going in, but my trust in the doctor dropped a little, lolololol. I’m not sure of the medication name; that’s just what I roughly heard, lolololol. Anyway, the nurse injected another medication through the IV needle in my arm. From then on, my mind got hazy- and the fourth-dimensional world began;; The background was basically fluorescent orange, and fireworks were going off here and there;; It felt like riding the Gyro Drop at Lotte World over and over. In my memory, I was riding a bobsled and screaming excitedly, lolololol. But even in the middle of that, I could feel that they were doing nose surgery. So I said, like I was talking in my sleep, “I don’t think I’m asleep.” I thought I said it properly, but it came out as mumbling, lolololol. The doctor said, “Yes? What did you say?” “Nothing........” lolololololololololololololol Honestly, even I thought it was funny. Anyway, after having such a pleasant time,- -; when the nose surgery ended, the nurse woke me up. When I woke up from the dream, I was a little disappointed; I wished the surgery had been a little longer, lolololol. Anyway, the nurse helped me sit up, and I sat on the operating table for about 10 minutes waiting to wake up, then went outside. I had brought a hat, sunglasses, and a mask because I planned to hide everything. But I didn’t know you can’t wear sunglasses after nose surgery,- -; The nurse saw me outside and told me to take the glasses off quickly;; So I pulled my hat and mask down low and came home in my mom’s car. At first, when the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, it was amazing because it didn’t hurt at all. But as the anesthesia gradually wore off, my ear hurt the most. Throbbing... I got the dressing yesterday, and now it’s the second day after surgery. Compared with the first day, my eyes, nose, and ear swelled up noticeably. There’s also a slight brown bruise around the nose tape... But the nose swelling seems to go down day by day. Honestly, I don’t come into this community that often, so I barely read nose surgery reviews. Now that I look, most of the posts are telling people not to do surgery or saying they regret it. It does feel a bit bitter;; But I’ll take good care of myself and post photos soon. It’s still swollen, so the height feels awkward, but I can feel that my nose is higher than before, so I do like it hehe. Then everyone, have a good Lunar New Year holiday, and happy New Year! Thank you for reading this long post♡
