It's day 5 after square jaw surgery~

Hello~ This is my first time writing a post! ^^ The day before surgery, I skimmed through a lot of posts here~ I was searching all over the place, and because of stories from people who had side effects, I got a little scared~ But now that I've actually had the surgery, up through today it hasn't really hurt much! ^^ It seems like a lot of people say it hurts after waking up from anesthesia.. But I wasn't in pain, so after waking up from surgery, I thought to myself, "Did the anesthesia not work, so they haven't done the surgery yet?" That's how it felt~ It's just really uncomfortable having the bandage wrapped on, and not being able to eat rice is a bit inconvenient... It doesn't hurt as much as I expected, so I'm really relieved. ^^ Since last night, my jaw has been throbbing a little~ You can think of it as similar to the throbbing you get when your teeth hurt! But having this darn bandage wrapped on is getting a bit tiresome. I think people usually say they take it off on day 5... Is it actually better to keep it on for a full week?? Since I'm on school break and there's no rush.. they told me to keep it on safely for a week~ I can't wash my hair, I wake up every now and then when sleeping... and my family teases me, saying I look like a 'boxer' with the bandage on lololol Anyway, I did this because I wanted to~ and if I become prettier later, I guess I have to put up with this much~ ^^ I'm so curious what I'll look like with the bandage off~ It seems like most people are disappointed because the swelling hasn't gone down... but I still want to see^^ Oh~ and the doctor said I have a lot of fat on my cheeks and told me to lose weight! So I thought this time, while only drinking things like porridge, soy milk, and milk, I'd probably lose some weight~? But no way. Not a chance~ Maybe because I'm just staying home every day, I'm neither gaining nor losing weight~ Anyway, for now I'm taking it positively~ and later, around when I recover, I'll really have to work hard on losing cheek fat~ ^^ Anyway, seniors who have had surgery~ Please tell me when you took off the bandage, how long the swelling lasts~ and things to be careful about after surgery! ^^
