Eye Surgery Considerations

Mark Review

After my first surgery, the tip of my nose became lower and the columella looked slightly cut off, so I decided to have a revision The reason I wanted a revision was also because I did not like the shape of the columella and the overall nasal line I made a list of clinics after referring to many reviews, and this one looked okay among them, so I chose it and went for a consultation But after reading the reviews here, it seemed that revision surgeries are often done without open surgery too, and the results looked good, so I went in thinking about a non-open approach to some extent However, when they looked at the change I wanted together with my current nose condition, they said satisfaction might be higher if it was done as a standard nasal revision surgery That said, at first the manager kept recommending another doctor instead of the director I had wanted, and strongly suggested proceeding that way, so honestly I did wonder what was going on...; Still, when I said again that I wanted to consult with the chief director, in the end they did assign me to the chief director I had wanted Anyway, the doctor did not just say non-open surgery was impossible and stop there, but explained why open revision surgery was needed and how autologous costal cartilage would be used, so that did help me decide the surgical direction... Since it was the chief director, the cost was definitely on the high side But it was a revision surgery... What mattered most was how well they could match my needs, so I decided based on the surgical outcome first I am currently recovering, and although there is still swelling, I like the side profile and the nasolabial angle better than before
