A Power-J’s Consultation Legwork (ㅇㅇㄱㄹ, ㄸㅋ, ㅍㄹㅇㅂ)

ㅇㅇㄱㄹ / Dr. ㅈㄱㅇ [In-person consultation] Consultant / She checked the line I wanted and my needs. It was good that she explained the surgical methods in advance in an easy-to-understand way. Doctor / After looking at the photo line I wanted, when doing that line? He made the height slightly lower and higher than that and showed me several more times by creating lines I reacted to, which was good. He said unnecessary procedures were not really needed, and he was thorough. Fixation with natural adhesion, and if I want to increase the horizontal length, posterior lower canthoplasty.

Natural adhesion + posterior lower canthoplasty: 1.85 million KRW

I was worried because there were not many reviews when I was researching online, but the clinic atmosphere had many referral customers. When I was leaving, I saw the pharmacist in that building talking after checking the surgical progress and mentioning referring a friend, and that made it feel even more convincing, so I decided on surgery.

Surgery expectations ★★★★★ (My expectations suddenly went up because of the pharmacist in the plastic surgery building) Doctor ★★★★☆ (explained logically and thoroughly) Consultant ★★★★☆ (kind, and sent me a summary of the consultation)

ㄸㅋ / Dr. ㄱㅎㅅ [In-person consultation] Consultant / After checking my history, she briefly checked what kind of line I wanted. She seemed a bit hectic. She often said, “Did I already tell you this?” Doctor / Eye check. Do less on the right and do more canthoplasty on the left to improve asymmetry. Make the double eyelid slim with a non-incisional method. He said if I want it big, it has to be done with incision. He explained in an easy-to-understand way what kind of feel makes the eyes look longer, and that if only the double eyelid is large, the eyes can just look round. He firmly said I do not need ptosis correction. He said upper canthoplasty would probably be better than ptosis correction. If doing ptosis correction, he recommended doing just a tiny bit or not doing it at all.

Natural adhesion + posterior lower canthoplasty: 2.2 million KRW

I went because review opinions were good, but there were so many doctors. Everyone looked hectic. The doctor had a very straightforward style. I started checking the number of surgeries from this point, and he said if a surgery takes about 30 minutes, more than 6 can be done. He said it depends on the surgery name. Since I am avoiding large hospitals, it did not really resonate with me.

Surgery expectations ★☆☆☆☆ (clinic atmosphere was more hectic than expected) Doctor ★★★★☆ (straightforward explanation) Consultant ★★★☆☆ (tried to understand the needs I wanted)

ㅍㄹㅇㅂ / Dr. ㅇㅈㅇ [In-person consultation] Consultant / Gave me a surgical plan (felt like, huh?). Natural adhesion possible. Even if the double eyelid gets bigger, it will not feel like the eyes look bigger. Doctor / Natural adhesion possible. He said incision probably would not be necessary. Since the distance between my eyes is narrow, no need to force epicanthoplasty. For ptosis correction, my eye-opening strength is not extremely weak, but it is lacking. He said whether to do ptosis correction is decided depending on how much the eye gets covered when opening the eyes with relaxed strength. (Ambiguous answer)

Natural adhesion + posterior lower canthoplasty: 2.64 million KRW

The wait was long, so it felt like there was not much point in making a reservation before going. There are 2 doctors, and I wondered whether they could handle this many customers. Consultant / Doctor consultation was guided kindly and well, but because there was so much waiting, it strongly felt like they could not focus on each person and were trying to move quickly.

Surgery expectations ★★☆☆☆ (ambiguous answer about ptosis correction) Doctor ★★★☆☆ (While waiting, there were many people backed up, and he came out right after finishing surgery looking extremely tired) Consultant ★★☆☆☆ (It was not great that she gave the surgical plan and created the line)
