Yesterday morning I had double eyelid surgery with the suture method. I only had a double eyelid on one eye,,, so I only did the other eye. I had been wearing double eyelid tape for about 3 years until now. After the double eyelid surgery, I did a cold compress at the hospital for about 10 minutes, and because I had to go to work in the afternoon... I came home and slept right away... (about 3 hours) When I got to work and looked, a lot of the swelling had gone down,, At first I was happy, but after work I did a cold compress for about 20 minutes and slept. When I woke up in the morning, the swelling had gone down so much for someone on day 2 that it seemed like too much... I heard that if swelling goes down too quickly, the line can become too small later,,,, Should I stop icing? I only did it twice. There is some bruising around the eye... If swelling goes down quickly, does the line really settle smaller later?
