First of all, compared with day 2, not much has changed. The swelling above the cheekbones and around the eyes/nose has gone down a little, but the swelling around the cheeks and jaw has barely gone down. Since I had incisions inside the mouth/next to the ears, it’s hard to open my mouth...(the wound inside my mouth has healed a lot) It’s hard only drinking things like soy milk, juice, and Pocari Sweat. I hate liquid foods now, I hate them...;;; The pain has settled down much more than on day 2, when I had to get through it without painkillers. Still, I’m far from being able to sleep comfortably. Every two or three hours, my face and lips swell up a lot and I wake up- I keep repeating the cycle of drinking water, groaning, and trying to sleep again. One of my front teeth hurts every time it touches a cup or straw... (Does anyone else have this symptom?) The blood scabs on both sides of my mouth still show no sign of falling off. They say time is the medicine, but it’s only been 3 days for me
