Hello. I'm Choi Samsik. Since I had already fixed my nose, mouth, and jaw over the past 5 years, I really thought double eyelid surgery would be easy. (If your eyes are small, you really do get brave!) I just woke up in the morning, roughly changed clothes, drove, and arrived at the hospital. (Going on a picnic? ㅡ,.ㅡ) My appointment was originally at 3, but the doctor came in really late. I just waited leisurely. (Like a sick dog next door... gasp, this is driving me crazy.) The surgery time was getting closer, and the nurse gave me 2 mysterious pills. She said they were anti-anxiety medication that would make my mind woozy... After I took them, the world looked beautiful. (Huh~) Nurse: "Samsik, are you okay?" Samsik: (trying to look as normal as possible) "Um, I don't feel anything (?) yet. Could I have just one more pill?" Nurse: "If you took 2, it should be fine.. wait a little." Samsik: "....." (That nurse noticed, gasp ㅡ,.ㅡ) Maybe about 10 minutes passed, at the point when the whole world looked so, so beautiful (I was probably looking at the ceiling alone, smiling like heh~ ㅡ,.ㅡ;; crazy person) The doctor called me. Doctor: "Samsik, come in~" Samsik: (super friendly) "Why~?" Gasp! For a moment, all the people around, including the nurses, froze. The doctor was telling me to come in for surgery, and I wasn't even a rebellious teenager, yet I said why... (The medication works amazingly~) After 3 seconds of silence (I wasn't even embarrassed ㅡ,.ㅡ), I lowered my head and went into the operating room after changing clothes. In the operating room, there was a huge light bulb and something that looked like a bed, so I quickly went and flopped down on it. Nurse: "Um, the operating table isn't ready yet..." I quietly crawled back out with a big smile, as if nothing had happened ㅡ,.ㅡ (The medication is stronger than 3 bottles of soju.) Finally, I lay down on the operating table like a dead dried yellow corvina (huh? Have I seen a dead dried yellow corvina?) And the anesthesia time that everyone fears approached. (Ddan-ddaran~~~~!) Doctor: "Only the injections under the eyes will hurt a little; the rest will be okay.." Then the needle went in. Samsik: "Something hurts a little." (Gasp, what did the doctor just say ㅡ,.ㅡ) Maybe I didn't even know what was going on. (I should have had psychiatric surgery first...) Honestly, the injections into the eye area hurt much less than the shots you get when having a wisdom tooth removed. (Surprisingly enjoyable. You pervert ㅡ,.ㅡ;;) Anyway, for 20 minutes there was a sound and smell like something being cauterized with a laser. Around when it was almost over, Samsik said, "Doctor, it smells like meat grilling too. After this, pork belly and soju?" (Oh no.....) The nurses and doctor in the operating room cracked up on the spot. After 1 minute, the doctor, who had regained composure, finished up, and the nurse gave me another 2 mysterious pills. (This hospital is the substance of mystery. They only tell you what it is after you take it. ㅡ,.ㅡ) I'm scared that one day, after I take it and ask "What is this?", the nurse will give a chilling smile and say, "Hehehe, rat poison~" (Shut up and get back to the story!) Anyway, since the nurse gave it to me, I assumed it was something good and swallowed it right away. Nurse: "It's pain medication." Samsik: (grinning) "Thank you" (As expected, our nurse sister is the best! She only gives good things!) After finishing like that and going into the bathroom to change clothes, "Aaaagh~~~~~!" I was shocked when I saw the insane mirror showing my appearance. (I went up to the mirror and said, "Who are you?" This is driving me crazy.) When I put on sunglasses, I looked a little human, so I roughly said goodbye to the doctor and nurse sister and left. From my house to the hospital is 2 and a half hours by car. If I get caught in Monday rush-hour traffic, it easily takes 4 hours. (That's right, I didn't think of that ㅡ,.ㅡ That's just how your head works ㅡ,.ㅡ;;) The good thing is that my eyes were so swollen and I even had surgical stitch marks, so if anyone tried to pick a fight, I could just take off my sunglasses and stare at them. (I cut it. ;;) One man tried to cut in, so I got irritated and took off my sunglasses; even though it was the middle of the highway, he changed lanes and left. Gasp.. embarrassing ㅡ,.ㅡ (But this is useful, huh~) After all that chaos, I arrived home and was looking in the mirror wondering if I should ice it, when bloody tears dripped. (I'm filming a whole hometown legend by myself... ㅡㅡ) Anyway, I took 2 Tylenol and I'm still excited ㅡ,.ㅡ Once I look a bit more human, I'll post photos too~~~` (Eat garlic~ that's how you'll become human...)
