Review of short nose and upturned nose surgery

Before<Before>After<After>After<After>After<After>I did a lot of online research in a community cafe and had consultations at 11 clinics, and after thinking it over again and again, this is the clinic I chose.

The reason I chose it was that they did not recommend any other procedures at all, and other clinics said I absolutely had to use costal cartilage, and that if I used costal cartilage, I would also have to use silicone.

Only at ㅊㅇㅊㄹ did they say it was possible without costal cartilage, so I decided to have surgery using only septal cartilage and ear cartilage.

The day before surgery, a family member had a major surgery scheduled, so I asked if it would be possible to change the date, and the director listened to my situation and changed it for meㅠㅠ(even though it was during a holiday) Thank you.

The surgery took about an hour and a half? And I think the packing was removed on day 2 or 3. I could not sleep properly, and since my baby is young I was also taking care of childcare, so I even got stomatitis, which was hard. Other than that, the recovery period was bearable. The bruising and major swelling were almost gone by week 1, and now that a month has passed, I can blow my nose and breathe through my nose, so it is so comfortable.

The director personally handled all the aftercare, like removing the packing and stitches, so it was also good for asking about anything I was curious about or anything uncomfortable.

Sometimes I do wonder, since I was doing it anyway, whether I should have used costal cartilage and silicone to make it a bit more dramatic, but I am very scared of side effects, so I am satisfied that I did it without implants.

Aside from it hurting so, so much when my baby sometimes hits my nose with a hand or foot, and the frustration of not being able to pick my nose freely, I am so, so satisfied that I had the surgery!!!
