It had been almost 2 weeks since surgery ㅋ I was hanging around this community, looking at everything and agonizing over whether to do it or not, then I went for it- ㅎ I went to 3 clinics in Apgujeong before deciding- one place I knew and two famous ones. I think it’s best to choose the clinic after consulting for yourself and picking the one you like best- that’s what I did too, because the consultation I liked best was there- ㅎ I had 3 consultations and picked a surgery date- the next day after the consultation ;;;; -_- I basically went for it right away. In the morning I went to the hospital and first they said to trim my nose hairs. They really just cut them with scissors- (a timid nurse sister carefully did it...ㅋㅋㅋ) I lay down on the operating table, got a cap? or something like that put on, and got ready. They wiped my face and ears with disinfectant cotton? alcohol cotton? anyway, then did an antibiotic injection test, and while they were preparing and waiting like that, the doctor came in- (he told me to practice breathing through my mouth) He measured the brow area, nose length, and things like that, then I got the sedation shot- I had wondered what it would feel like after reading other people’s reviews, and after a little while I lost my memory. This must have been when the anesthesia started.. When I came to, it seemed like the surgery was in progress- I couldn’t feel anything- it just felt like I’d had alcohol and was lying there? ㅎㅎ I was just lying still and watching what they were doing, and it seemed like they had made an incision behind my ear and were scraping out cartilage- that scraping sound, like when you clean an ear...-_- I thought I should let them know I was awake, so I said, 'What are you doing now?' and they said they were operating- then laughed.. I was asking what part of the process it was;;;;; The operating room atmosphere was very cheerful and friendly. The nurses and doctor were chatting while working...-_- They had music on too. I was singing along in my head and stuff;;; ㅎㅎ Anyway, after a little while they started making an incision inside my nose- with something hot, like a laser? or something like that. It felt like cutting inside the nose? It didn’t hurt, but tears poured out-(I guess it still hurt since I was under anesthesia) I have a hump nose, so it seemed like they were filing down the nose bone with a machine too, and I couldn’t feel the silicone going in inside my nose. Since everyone was being quiet, I asked what they were doing, and they said they were carving the silicone and told me to wait;; Finally they stitched it up, and the doctor said to the nurses, 'Isn’t the shape pretty?' and then left. A nurse wiped my face again, put glue? (the nurse said it was glue) on my ear, and I got up. I wasn’t dizzy, just kind of dazed. But there was white powder all over my face...;;; That must have been my bone dust...-_-^ ㅋ I lay in the recovery room for a bit, then my parents arrived, so I rode home by car- the manager said not to drive, so my parents drove instead- hehe;; They say swelling is worst the day after surgery, and it really was intense- On the day itself it seemed to swell a little, then went down, but the next day it swelled like crazy. It stayed swollen until the second day, to the point where I could barely open my eyes... I was really worried. I kept drinking pumpkin juice instead of water ㅡㅡ;; Anyway, by day 3 or 4 it started to go down, and by day 6 it had gone down a lot. But on day 7 it suddenly swelled like crazy again, so I was totally shocked. The tip of my nose also turned red- I called the hospital manager, and they asked about my condition.. They said everyone had already left work, but in the end they said they’d come to the hospital at night, so I went around 10. It was Friday, so when I went to the hospital the doctor had come too- sorry about that- It was nothing serious; I just got an injection and a prescription, then went home... Right now I’m satisfied !! ㅋㅋ The shape is just what I wanted... but I do wish it were a little higher; a little desire that keeps bubbling up;;; greed, I guess- I had a small hump, so I shaved it down and used 4 mm silicone, and brought the tip together. During the consultation, they told me to bring photos of the nose shape I wanted and the shape I hated on the day of surgery, so I brought them- I think I might have been their most picky customer;;;;ㅋ Even during surgery, the doctor joked to the nurses, 'This person has a lot they want,' and I replied, 'That’s right' too ㅋㅋ Anyway, after reading someone else’s review before, it helped me a lot, so I’m leaving a very long post myself- thank you for reading ㅎ bow (__)(-- )^ I really wrote this in detail !!
