Before/after To summarize the eye revision surgery I had! ▶Incisional revision surgery + epicanthoplasty + upper canthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty (lateral canthal fixation) + lowering the outer eye corners + entropion surgery
For my first surgery, I didn't go too ambitious, but as time passed, the double eyelid line started getting swallowed up and gradually disappeared ㅠㅠ I couldn't even tell if these were eyes that had double eyelid surgery.. I decided on revision surgery because my eyes didn't show up in photos, and I wanted them to look natural but also clearer and bigger!! haha
There are so many double eyelid clinics that I was worried, but after seeing my friend get surgery first at The Plastic Surgery with Director Sung Ji-yoon, I thought, this is the place! I made a reservation right away and had a consultation. Since she is a female director and seems to have a lot of experience with eye surgery, she was very detailed and thorough? haha She immediately understood the eye style I wanted, and because I wanted a dramatic change, we proceeded with incisional revision surgery + epicanthoplasty/upper canthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty (lateral canthal fixation) + lowering the outer eye corners + entropion surgery (the entropion surgery was done together because my eyelashes curl inward). I thought a specialist would know best, so I had the surgery according to the director's advice, and I'm extremely satisfied with the result, so I really like it haha I was worried about scarring from the lateral canthoplasty, but she opened it cleanly and without overdoing it. My eyes used to look small and stuffy, like cockle-shaped eyes, but I think I saw a lot of effect after the canthoplasty!!
When I take selfies now, my eyes look glamorous and big, so it feels so satisfying lol It was uncomfortable because my eyelashes curled inward and poked my eyes, but that's gone too, so I'm really happy! haha
