I had surgery with the buried-suture method at an ophthalmology clinic at 3 PM on the 25th. I had just happened to go to a small neighborhood ophthalmology clinic, and even though I had inner double eyelids, they said my eyelashes were poking my eyes. So they said if it was processed through insurance, it would be 100,000 won, and my mom made a +_+ face like that-.- and immediately booked the surgery date... That was the moment all the hospital information I had worked so hard to gather in this community turned into nothing... lol On the day of surgery, I went in.. and since I’m really timid, I just went with whatever line the doctor marked for me. (They made it large because they said they needed to lift the eyelashesㅡ.,ㅡ) Before surgery, they put eye drops in my eyes.. I sat down while they drew the line a few times, then lay down and they drew the line a few more times ㅡ.ㅡ They drew and erased lines on my eyes with a marker and ruler-_-; The doctor was really meticulous haha, reassuring After safely drawing all the lines like that, finally...... I got the anesthetic injection, and it hurt less than I expected! I had worried so much. Just a slight sting?.. Ticklish????? That’s exaggeratingㅡ.,ㅡ Anyway, it wasn’t even really a sting lol I’m a super whiny teenager, but it didn’t hurt at all. But The injection they put inside after flipping my eyelid really drove me crazyㅜㅜ They said they had to put dissolvable thread inside my eye, so they flipped it over and operated.. I almost died. I heard buried-suture surgery normally involves flipping the eyelid and doing the inside too.. is that right? I wondered if something had gone wrong ; timid timid Since the surgery was done with my eyes open, I watched the doctor’s hands and scissors covered in my blood... I was whining so muchㅜ.ㅜ They operated on my right eye first, and luckily, just then a song by a singer I really like came on the radio haha My right eye didn’t bruise at all.. lol (The left one.....;;;;) Anyway, the surgery ended safely like that~~~ phew I lay down and did some compresses before coming home. But they told me to come again the day after surgery, then again the day after that, then again to get the stitches removed, and again on the 2-week mark...-┌ It hurts and I’m so embarrassed, so why do they keep telling me to come... And each time I go, they consistently charge me a few thousand won ㅠ Anyway, now it’s exactly been one week haha I don’t know if it’s because of swelling, but it’s an in-out line. Maybe because they made it too large... or because I did it at an ophthalmology clinicㅜ the swelling is really tight and puffy.. oh my So far, I don’t regret doing it at an ophthalmology clinic.. haha I think I need to wait and see more. Next time, when more swelling goes down, I’ll upload photos here~~
