I wanted the outer tail area to be drawn out widely, but the doctor emphasized that following my eye line would be best, and said my eyes were the type where epicanthoplasty could be done or not done, but if I really wanted epicanthoplasty, it wouldn’t be too late to do it later after seeing the surgical progress. I wanted an in-out line, but because the starting part of my eyes is on the round side, the doctor said that even if they forced it, the shape wouldn’t come out pretty, and that an in-line would suit my eyes. The swelling definitely looks less noticeable in the photos. Today it has gone down a little more than on the first day. Until a few hours after surgery, my eyes were so swollen that even when I closed them, the incision lines were not visible like that. I thought that if I strained my eyes, they would swell a lot and bruise a lot too, so honestly I was very nervous, but I just acted as if I was dead and kept avoiding putting any strength into my eyes.; They said I did well without tensing during anesthesia and that I didn’t bruise, but when I got home and looked, I did have bruising. During surgery too, they complimented me for staying calm and doing well,,; I tried to keep my eyes as natural as possible without straining, but actually I was extremely nervous haha They said they would do about 8-9 mm, but they said that number had no meaning. Because the result could vary a lot depending on removal of sagging skin, eye shape, and so on.. I had it done in Apgujeong.
