It’s been about two months since my surgery. Around the first month, my left eye looked like it was opening slightly less, so I wondered if it was asymmetry, and I went back to the clinic once more in the middle of my follow-up period. But the director said it could be due to a difference in the strength of opening my eyes, so we decided to keep monitoring the progress for now. Now, surprisingly, they’ve become almost symmetrical. As you can see from the photos, they look much more natural than in the early stage after surgery, and the scars are gradually fading when I close my eyes. Honestly, at first I was a bit worried about scarring because it was an incisional procedure, but now, even up close and even when I close my eyes, it doesn’t show at all. At this rate, after a year, they’ll probably feel completely like my own eyes. Lastly, I’m attaching scar photos with my eyes closed, in order of one month and two months after surgery.
