<Before surgery><After surgery><Compare before and after>I just had ordinary monolid eyes, you know. I wanted double eyelid surgery, but canthoplasty felt like too much, so I didn’t want it. I went around to consultations with the goal of getting a natural in-out fold that wouldn’t look obvious. But after visiting 5 places, the one place I liked told me to get canthoplasty. The eyes I wanted were like a certain female idol’s eyes, and they said that for my eyes to look like that, I absolutely needed epicanthoplasty I’ve seen a lot of people where epicanthoplasty looked really obvious, and a lot where the inner flesh was all visible. So I said I wouldn’t do it. They said they would make it as natural as possible within the maximum amount of epicanthoplasty that could be done, so I trusted them and tried it. My upper eyelid skin was covering my eyes, so I ended up doing an incision method, which I had really hated, but maybe because they opened it only slightly, there wasn’t much swelling at all.. Or maybe techniques are just better these days??? Was it like that for everyone else too? Anyway, before double eyelid surgery, no matter how much I used an eyelash curler, my lashes drooped and looked weird, but after making the double eyelids, my eyes overall look more open, so I like it. It might just be in my head, but my lashes curl up well, so the curler works better too!!!! I was so scared it would look obvious, but luckily I found a place that suited me. I used to be kind of negative about surgeries like canthoplasty or incisional procedures, but when they’re tailored to you, I think they can be okay. What I’m worried about is, I like that it looks natural, but it won’t come down quickly, right?? Since it’s incisional, will it be okay???
