Only posterior canthoplasty... When does the redness in the eyeball go away?

I had posterior canthoplasty yesterday afternoon... Since my vertical eye height isn't large, even the doctor said I didn't have to do it... but I ended up doing it out of greed.. But... I don't think there's much swelling... but the back side of my eyeball is frighteningly red.. Something jelly-like seems to be attached there too, and it's extremely bright red, so I have to go to work on Monday and I'm at a loss.. Because of my age, my upper eyelids were a bit loose and slightly droopy, and my lower line was the kind that gets pulled up a little, so I only did posterior canthoplasty thinking it might at least make my eyes look more open sideways... but my eyes look kind of pitiful, I guess.. There's still swelling, so I can't really tell yet, but my eyes also look a bit droopy... Anyway, when does this red-eyeball phenomenon usually get better?
