LASEK review

Reason I got LASEK - Before LASEK, my contact lens prescription was -7.0 (for 7 years) When I wore glasses, my eyes looked tiny, so I wore contact lenses all day every day. One day my eyes were extremely swollen and stinging, so I visited a local ophthalmology clinic -> I was told that because of corneal wounds and other reasons, if I kept wearing lenses I could even go blind, so I decided on LASEK. Review - An acquaintance recommended a hospital, so I went to an ophthalmology hospital near Gangnam Station and had various tests, which took quite a long time. I forgot the reason, but anyway LASIK wasn't possible and only LASEK was possible, so I decided on it (fortunately, my cornea was thick enough that I could even do it twice, they said) -> booked a surgery date and went home. Visited the hospital on the day of surgery. First they drew blood, then I went into the operating room. I was nervous, but if I just kept my eyes open as instructed, it felt like things passed by quickly and then it was over. Both eyes took about 5 minutes. It was the worst pain of my life. For 4 days, I couldn't focus, so there was nothing I could do, and it hurt whether my eyes were open or closed. It was pain like my eyeballs were being pressed down and rolled through grains of sand (they make plasma eye drops? and when I put those in, I could escape the pain for about 10 seconds). But once the painful period ended, it was truly perfect clear vision. I could see well with my bare eyes, so at first I just kept reading signs as I passed by. Now each eye is about 1.0. Even though it was so, so painfulㅠ it was a surgery I don't regret.
