During the consultation, they seemed somewhat professional, and the doctor also seemed confident, so I booked surgery that same day. The consultant kept saying it was such a simple surgery, that I could do it on the weekend and go straight to work, but it is absolutely not that simple of a surgery. They are cutting under the eyes, so how could it be simple.. The bulging fat under my eyes definitely disappeared and improved, but I suffered for a while from double vision as a side effect. When I went for follow-up care, the doctor said my focus was off because I was still recovering, but it was definitely double vision.. I felt that their response before surgery and their response when I was experiencing side effects after surgery were very different, so my trust completely dropped. Even when I said I had double vision, they said it would be okay after a week. After a week, they said it would take about two more weeks. After two weeks, they said it would take another month..ㅎ Still, after looking here and there for people who had double vision side effects, most opinions said it would return even if it took some time, so I just completely closed my mind toward the clinic and endured it on my own. After about a month or two, I became completely comfortable, but even now, 1 year later, a slight hint of double vision remains when I look down to the left. And when I looked it up, this clinic.. seems to have some word-of-mouth reviews about double vision side effects...ㅎ I am satisfied with the under-eye fat repositioning surgery itself, excluding the side effects.. If I could go back, I think I would do it at another clinic.
