4-Year Review of Buried-Suture Double Eyelid Surgery, Ptosis Correction, and Epicanthoplasty

Leaving this eye surgery review because I want to get points 1. My eyes before surgery. I had a crease, and I was someone who used my forehead to create double eyelids. The skin on my eyelids was on the thin side. I had the surgery done following my original crease line. 2. Personal tips. There are many people around me who have had eye surgery, so this is the conclusion I came to in my own way. People with thin eyelid skin or an existing crease have a higher chance of a good result as long as they do not get too greedy. Literally, when I asked people whose results turned out well, most of them were cases like this. On the other hand, if you have a lot of eyelid fat/skin and completely monolid eyes, please judge very, very carefully, do not get greedy, and look at reviews where the pre-surgery eyes are similar to your own. There was someone who had surgery at the same hospital with the same doctor as me, and although that person’s result was not a failure, it was not amazingly good either. Personally, not all of my friends around me were like that, but there were quite a few cases like that. 3. Choosing a clinic? Honestly, I had surgery the same day after my first consultation, so I do not know much about doing legwork for eye surgery... Honestly, I had personal confidence. I thought that if I just followed my own crease line, it would be okay unless the place was truly strange. It was also a place where an acquaintance of an acquaintance had gone. Looking into it now, my tips would be a place whose aesthetic sense matches yours, a place without issues, and personally, a place that does not feel like a factory. 4. Revision surgery About 1 year after surgery, my left eye became slightly covered, so under the lead of the doctor and my mom, I had a slight revision surgery. The swelling went down well, and it was fine. I am not the type to be obsessively fixated on my appearance, so I do not pick it apart and inspect it. 5. Satisfaction I am completely satisfied. Looking prettier is a big part of it, but I am so satisfied because I no longer have the habit of opening my eyes with my forehead or creating double eyelids. If I do not say anything, truly no one knows I had it done. Even people in the field who know these things well do not know. I recommend it to people with a type like mine. For the opposite type, I do not know well, so I cannot give a definite answer... Anyway, I am extremely satisfied with my eye surgery. Good luck! If you leave questions, I will answer them.
