At 6 months post-op, I barely even think about whether I had square jaw surgery or not anymore. To be honest, after 2 months had passed, I didn’t do any special aftercare. I just ate everything I wanted and exercised too, and I was totally fine. I had surgery at ㅅㅅㅇ in March and ran a 10 km marathon at the end of May, and I was completely fine. Maybe it’s because they did the surgery so well, but I haven’t had any side effects, and I live my daily life to the point that I forget I even had surgery. Up until 3 months, my weight had dropped all the way to 43 kg, and now I’m 45-46 kg, but people still worry a lot and say I’ve lost too much weight. My weight has actually gone up, but I guess because the empty space on my face is gone, I keep looking like I’m losing weight. When I told the director at the clinic I regularly visit once a month, ‘I actually had square jaw surgery,’ they were really surprised. The design fits my face so perfectly that everyone thought I had just naturally lost weight. The director is the best.. Before surgery, I went to get square jaw Botox, but they said, ‘Customer.. this isn’t muscle, it’s bone...’ and I got turned away for Botox. But now I’m satisfied and living my everyday life. I’m not afraid of being photographed anymore. I used to look broad and flat like Geodude’s face all the time, so I cried a lot inside. Now I take selfies with the default camera without using the SNOW app. Sooo satisfied! And when I go to marathons, there are lots of people who take photos, so I actually want to be photographed, and I confidently strike poses and smile brightly too, haha. When I look at the uploaded photos, all I can see is my slim jawline.
