Detailed review of revision surgery

Ugh, ㅠㅠ it’s revision surgery lol I really never thought I’d be writing a revision-surgery review, but the surgery started today around 4:30. It had been exactly six months since the first surgery lol I really went there after hearing word of mouth, and when people say you get totally wrecked, that phrase is exactly about me ㅋ ㅑ컄ㅋㅋ But I’ve always been pretty indifferent, so whether it loosened up or not, I wasn’t that upset inside. Anyway, it had completely come undone lol, just a long line of incision marks lol I didn’t want to do it, but I couldn’t beat my mom, who kept dragging me along, so I made the reservation and came out... Right when I went in with everything fully undone, the doctor already seemed a bit tense, probably wondering what kind of trouble my mom and I would cause. ㅋㅋ To be honest, in places like plastic surgery clinics, if they say they can’t do it, word gets around like crazy ㅋㅋ If customers who had gone there saw my eyes and asked what this was and all walked out, the doctor would lose a lot too, right? Then he suddenly said he’d redo it right away, that this kind of loosening can happen, and it wasn’t really because of me or something like that ㅋㅋ But he’s known for things coming undone easily................ It sounded like the words of someone very experienced ㅋㅋㅋ Still, I didn’t want to go to another hospital and pay double just to cut once around my eye and sew it up again. I thought, as long as it looks like, “Ah, that’s a double eyelid,” that’s enough, so I decided to do it there again. And then, ta-da, today’s 4:30 revision-surgery story begins. Revision surgery and first surgery feel a bit different, apparently ㅋㅋ While reading other people’s revision-surgery reviews, I saw someone say it hurts 150 times more than the first surgery, so I went in thinking, ah, maybe it does hurt a bit. I wasn’t that nervous for the first surgery either, but for revision surgery, since I’d already done it once, I wasn’t nervous at all ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ As I was just getting onto the operating table, all I could think was, oh well, I’m lying down here again after all ㅋㅋ That was it ㅋㅋ While designing the fold, the doctor said, "Do you rub your eyes a lot? If you rub them, they loosen up~" I wanted to get really annoyed, but since he said it jokingly, I answered in a pretend-innocent way, "How am I supposed to rub them when they hurt?" Then the doctor was joking like, "Aigoo~ what kind of hospital did you go to before to end up like this?" That was the first time I’d ever seen him joke ㅡㅡ He usually acts all high-and-mighty, speaks bluntly, completely ignores the customer’s opinion, and has a very cold impression, but maybe because it was revision surgery and he felt a bit sorry, he was joking too ㅋㅋ So I was able to get it done in a relaxed mood. I’m naturally not very scared and I don’t really make a fuss either..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Even I find myself surprising. I can’t even ride amusement park rides, but I’m fine with things like this ㅋㅋ Anyway, they disinfected my face. They told me to hold onto something like a board with my hands, and everything proceeded in the same order as the first surgery ㅋㅋ They disinfected, wiped me down, marked the eye design with a pen, and then quickly said, "We’re going to anesthetize you~" and started injecting the anesthetic shots one after another ㅋ The anesthesia shots hurt a bit even during my first surgery. So before surgery, I asked the nurse, for revision surgery do you get more anesthetic shots? And the nurse said no, it’s the same. But then what in the world ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ At first I got one shot on each side, but this time it felt like about four? five? shots per eye? Luckily they didn’t turn the eye itself inside out, only into the eyelid ㅋㅋ The doctor praised me a lot for tolerating it well. But after getting anesthesia shots twice, I really felt like I’d figured out the trick. They prick from the outer corner of the eye toward the front in order. But the closer they get to the front, the more it hurts. When it hurts, you tense up, right? The more you tense your eyes, the more it really hurts. Just telling yourself, I’m sleeping, sleeping, I’m sleeping, I’m asleep now, and closing your eyes like you’re sleeping makes the anesthesia shot no big deal. It just stings a little, that’s all. Still, it did feel like they were cutting into living flesh ㅋㅋ They cut the left eye first, then fixed it with something like forceps for the eyelid and used a blade to go snip-snip, and for hemostasis they used some electric thing with crackling sounds, and there was a smell like burned hair ㅋㅋㅋㅋ What on earth were they burning inside my eye that made such a nasty smell............... Once the hemostasis was done, I think they kept poking with needles and tying the muscle from the inside. There was some pressure. I’d heard during the consultation that for revision surgery they tie it from the inside so it won’t loosen, and it seemed like they tied it in about three places. Tie, sew, tie, sew... They were really focused on the left eye. It felt like two-thirds of the surgery time was spent on the left side. Because they kept digging around in my eye, blood kept coming out and the left-side anesthesia started wearing off. Oh my God ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ By the time they got to around the middle of the eyeball, they were tying the muscle, and I really don’t usually make a fuss, but I was like, ahh, it hurts, doctor. My eyeball is going to break. I said that, and the nurse next to him laughed without understanding how much it hurt ㅋㅋ Shit...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Even though my eyes were closed, the light sensed through them didn’t feel like closed eyes, and I could see the shadows of hands moving ㅋㅋ Feeling the thread brush across my face and the occasional pressure from stitching, I kept repeating open, close, open, close, open, close, and they finished the left side ㅋㅋ Ah, they had to start the right side, but my left eye was really stinging like crazy. Damn ㅠㅠ I was thinking, if I say it hurts, what if they give me another anesthesia shot? So inside I just kept chanting stings, stings, stings, then they started the right side, and it honestly ended before I even knew what they were doing. There was some pressure from tying the muscle, they did the crackling hemostasis, stitched it up, then open, close, and it was done. Suddenly they went back to the left eye and poked my eye with a needle!!!!!!11 I was already in a state where the anesthesia had worn off and it stung like crazy, and they stuck a needle into bare flesh and sewed it ㅋㅋ Ah, I study costume design, and to describe this feeling: it was like I was working hard cutting fabric without thinking, and then the skin of my finger near the nail got deeply pierced by a pin stuck in the fabric ㅋㅋ Through and through ㅋㅋ Ah, that was the last pain. They put on a sticker and it was over. People said revision surgery hurts so I kept thinking it must hurt, it must hurt, but it really didn’t hurt much at all. There was no big difference from the first surgery. It’s just that the first surgery didn’t hurt that much, so revision surgery still only had a bit of pressure when tying the muscle, and if the anesthesia doesn’t wear off, then like me ㅋㅋ there wouldn’t be that stinging pain or the pain of a needle going through, but still ㅋㅋ Anyway, for those of you who are about to have revision surgery, don’t worry too much. You just need a few more anesthesia shots. If you’re getting sedation anesthesia, you really don’t need to worry even more. The result?? I’m satisfied with the result ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I think you need to clearly state your opinion. During my first surgery, they overdid the crease and didn’t remove the sagging skin, and made the double eyelid into a very shallow inner fold, so before revision surgery I stressed, this time please remove the sagging skin, okay? Absolutely no shallow inner-fold double eyelid, emphasized and emphasized. Then they really made the line thick and pretty. Because they removed the sagging skin and stitched it up, my eyelashes lifted up and my eyes got bigger. Even though I didn’t have inner corner surgery, Everyone, let’s all confidently assert ourselves! We’re doing this to become prettier, after all. You all worked hard ㅋㅋㅋ
