It’s been 10 years since my first double eyelid surgery, and I had it done with the buried-suture method. Starting early this year, wrinkles formed above the line, then my left eye ended up with multiple lines and completely settled into an outline fold, while my right eye kept getting thinner... People I know said it actually looked natural and asked, “Do you really need to?” But every time I took photos, the asymmetry was so severe that I felt I needed to do it again. I did online research for revision surgery, narrowed it down to about three places near Gangnam Station, went for consultations, and decided the same day to have surgery at HN. First of all, there is one head director, and when I looked through the reviews, the director’s aesthetic sense? style was so much my taste. The lines felt very clean and evenly thick?? I booked the very first time slot and went, so I think I waited around 5 minutes, and the lobby was clean and nice (I went on a weekday morning). The order was consultant consultation > director consultation, and the consultant consultation was much more thorough than I expected. She asked what kind of line I wanted, so I showed her two similar photos, and she said the two photos differed in the tail-end line and told me to choose which of the two was closer to the line I wanted. She also explained exactly how far the line goes in relative to the pupil. I went to three consultations that day, and this was the only place that explained it in this much detail. There was absolutely no pressure to pay a deposit. During the director consultation, we tried making the line and talked about why my eye fold had loosened, and the director did not recommend anything excessive and seemed very confident, so somehow I trusted him. Also, he said only my right eye had been opened a lot with medial epicanthoplasty and that it was such a shame lololol. I had never really thought about it, but when I got home and looked, it really was true...? Anyway, I wanted an in-out line, but he said because my right eye is opened with no Mongolian fold at all, we would need to go slightly toward an outline fold. We decided on micro fat grafting to the upper eyelid + buried-suture line reinforcement (natural adhesion?). Honestly, the price was higher than other places... I went with a friend, and my friend said the line HN made for me was the prettiest, and I liked it the most too, so I put down a deposit that day!
