It’s been about a month since I had double eyelid surgery.. At first it was really obvious, and I seriously thought I had done it for nothing, but now people who don’t know can’t even tell I had double eyelid surgery, and only people who know me can tell... But the problem happened today... Today, because of my friend’s baby’s first-birthday party, I had no choice but to attend... Luckily, there were almost no people I knew there, so I thought I would get through it safely.. But then suddenly, a friend who had seen me from behind was walking toward me from far away.. In that moment I felt it: “Ah, what was bound to happen has happened.” That friend saw me and said, “Hey, what’s wrong with your eyes? You got double eyelid surgery, didn’t you...” And he said it loudly while laughing, so in an instant, the women around my age nearby and the guests all looked at me at once. For about 5 seconds, everyone’s eyes were on me... I was so embarrassed that I just lowered my head and ate food. I could hear murmuring and giggling here and there.. I seriously thought I’d die of embarrassment.. Something that could have passed without anyone knowing turned me into a laughingstock because of that guy... I think for everyone else, if it’s something like a first-birthday party, wedding, or other event, it’s probably better to just show sincerity with money rather than going in person if possible.. I was so embarrassed today..
